About Joyce Volant and Healthy Living Zone

Joyce has struggled with poor health her whole life. She was frequently ill as a child, and then she began her journey with chronic pain at the age of 19, when she suffered a severe whiplash, the first of three, and a mid-back injury. Nonetheless, she worked continuously  despite excruciating pain. When she could no longer work, she was awarded disability benefits at the age of 42.

Over the years, she had many bad experiences with pharmaceutical medications, so she learned all she could about natural remedies. Still fighting for some quality of life, she developed a serious infection underneath her skin. It disfigured her face and went undiagnosed and untreated for over five years, despite Joyce constantly asking her doctor to help her. During that time, she was forced to fend for herself and seek answers regarding what was wrong and how to combat it naturally. A torn meniscus in her knee forced her doctor to finally diagnose and start medical treatment for the skin infection. Joyce went on to graduate from the School of Natural Skincare.

Joyce founded Healthy Living Zone to provide products for people who understand that what they put on their skin can affect their health and are seeking safe, effective, non-toxic skincare.
